BOEING SEAFAIR AIRSHOW

The 113th APBA Gold Cup Trophy will be awarded at the 2023 Seafair Weekend Festival.Winning the HomeStreet Bank Cup is the goal of every team competing in the world’s fastest racing boats, and there is no better place or time to host that competition than the iconic Seafair Festival Weekend. Whether you are spectating near the shores of Lake Washington or from the Seafair Log Boom, you are in for a special treat. The excitement of hydroplanes racing at over 220 MPH is unbelievable.

The HomeStreet Bank Cup is an integral part of the Seafair Weekend Festival that was started in 1950. Lake Washington is the third oldest H1 Unlimited race site. This year, we are celebrating 70 years of hydroplane racing at Seafair with multiple classes of boats.

And, we are excited to announce the return of the APBA Gold Cup, joining the 2023 HomeStreet Bank cup races! The APBA Gold Cup Hydroplane Races is an exciting annual event that brings together the world's top hydroplane racing teams to compete for the prestigious Gold Cup trophy. Hosted by the American Power Boat Association (APBA), this thrilling event features high-speed racing on the water as sleek hydroplanes zip across the surface, reaching up to 200 miles per hour.
